The big thing is to make sure you have a plan in place, especially if you are going to do ads. You need to have a purpose for it, get the right planning, and don’t be afraid to include other people from the community as well.

We use it for co-curricular activities as well. We'll have PE classes out there, and we can put something out there – just turn the music on, something for the kids to enjoy. And they're always looking up there, seeing that.

Our goal is to pay for the board and sell ads, and then we take whatever money we get past the board payment and put that back into our facilities.

Framewrx works like we want it to. You know, it's not going to be pixelated when the content goes on the board.

FrameWrx gives a more branded look to our game day. We have a special Van Meter logo we call the flying VM floating on the screen and exploding into little Bulldogs. It’s fun to get creative.

FrameWrx enables us to create a lot of cool things and manipulate it with our colors and messaging. We’ve been going with it, and we love it.

Parents love it. They love to see their kids’ faces. We record the kids saying the sportsmanship creed and put that on the board.

When people walk in, they get that Van Meter game day experience, smaller than what you get at the big stadiums, but we blare the music and have a lot of fun. It’s been exciting.

We have our anchor sponsors with signs on the scoreboard, and each one of them has created videos. So the first down, the touchdowns or whatever it is, is sponsored by one of them, and then we’ll play their commercial on the board during halftime or another break in the game.
Mike Linde, Director of Technology and Assistant Athletic Director, Van Meter High School
I think the digital board adds so much more to the game day experience. We can do so much and it’s fun.
